Follow the ac lines from the ac compressor, and look for the large line,it will have the ac service port on it,it will be the only one your charge hose will fit,if this was helpful, please rate, thank you.

Sounds like worn clutches, more than likely the transmission needs rebuilt or replaced.

How to change termosat on 2003 chevy impala

Follow top radiator hose to the engine there should be a roundish housing that the hose connects to and it has a couple bolts on it. Pull the old one out put the new one in make sure the spring side is down in the engine. Ask your auto store guy what gaskets and sealants you need.

AC Compressor not engaging on 2000 Chevy Impala. Fuses and AC relay okay. No power at compressor. Need wiring diagram. Also need to know if compressor requires 12v for operation. If not what should voltage...

When your R-134a runs too low it will NOT engage the compressor. You need to refill your a/c system before the clutch will engage, I also suggest finding the leak.

I can't locate the thermostate on my 2003 chevy impala.

Follow the top rad hose. Should lead to a pipe that curves just about under the throttle body (drivers side) if i remember correctly. Thats where your thermostat will live. Not a very easy one to do.

Recharge AC on my Chevy Impala 2003

You need to follow the ac lines from the ac compressor to the ac condensor to the fire wall behind the engine where it goes to the heater box. There are two connections, both at differant locations,a low side that has a screw on red or blue cap with the letter L on it and a high side with a cap that has the letter H on it.The refridgerant goes into the low side.Hope this helps.
