Question about 1999 Chevrolet Blazer

1 Answer

I have a1999 chevy s-10 blazer and I have my problem down to the injectors. I can get it running if I dribble fuel in the throttle body. I have plenty of fuel pressure at the check valve behind the throttle body. Is there a module that controles the injectors or relay or something? Any info is greatly appriciated. Thank You, Mike

1998 chevy blazer fuel pump is putting out 55 psi but no gas is getting to the cylinders

4.3 TBI (throttle body injector) You dont have a TBI you should be equipt with a CSFI people in the field call this the spider injector, they inject fuel into tubes for each cylinder , as for the fuel pressure it should be 54 psi to 60 psi,and this is for a 4.3, The CSFI system does plug up which causes rough idle due to the poppet valve or seat,to stick open or closed,Ive ran fuel injector cleaner that has been sucesfull maybe you can try that

I put in a new fuel pump in the tank and the 94 chevy blazer and it still want start can you tell me whats wrong

your s-10 has a single fuel injector that has mechanical pintals make shure your injector is firing..located inside intake plenume assy the connector is the big connector behind the throttle body...also make shure your new pump is working...do you have spark also a must..

Truck won't start. Fuel to throttle body ok, little sprinkle coming out of injectors not consistant. One crank slight spray next crank nothing but a dribble.

either no fuel pressure or the favourite is the non return valve on the fuel rail ,it has a vacumn pipe running to it ,this pipe cracks and splits so no vacumn to the valve give symptoms you describe

My 1998 Chevy Blazer crank excessively when I try to start it. It always starts, and runs good when I get it started, but I would really like a smooth start. I have recently changed the fuel filter, spark...

leaky injector/s is flooding motor, mechanically clean or replace. And clean throttle body while you are at it with spray cleaner. Should be almost spotless where large throttle valve opens and closes.

1990 chevy blazer 350 ci throttle body fuel injected . the motor is flooding out u can see the injectors keep dumping fuel into the throttle body

Sounds like you have an injector leaking. Have someone just cycle the key on and off to run the fuel pump but don't crank the engine. If you see fuel dripping from the injectors, unbolt the injector cover on the throttle body, remove the injectors and replace the orings around the injectors.

Fuel pressure regulator

Two places to look...if you have separate injectors for each cylinder then regulator should be at the front end of the fuel rail. If you have throttle body injection it is on the throttle body itself.
