You will have to purchase a new master cylinder,if the reservoir is attached directly to the master cylinder,to solve the problem, the new master cylinder will come with a new reservoir attached,or,it will not,but will have new gromet seals in the master cylinder,so when changing over the reservoir to the new master cylinder,it will stop the leak.According to napa auto parts, the reservoir is attached with a roll pin,so this solution will work.I hope this was helpful, and if so,please rate, thank you.

2003 PT Cruiser -Brake fluid is leaking on rear passenger tire where the brake line connects to the brake mechanism. Is it likely loose and just needs to be tightened up or should I replace the line?

-Put it in part position.
-Turn off the engine.
-Craw under neat where you can see the leaking area.
-Wear a safety glasses or goggle.
-Ask some one to help to press the brake pedal for you
and watch where is the fluid come from.
-If from the connector then tight it more. (Not too tight).
and try press brake pedal again. If there is no more leak
then you're good.
-But if it leak from the pipe instead at the connector then the pipe line might broke. Need new line.

Good luck

New brakes and rotors in rear 6 months ago. now losing fluid and brake light on

could be leak from master cylinder this should be evident by fluid running down between master and booster or leaking from piston seal on caliper, caliper will dip fluid onto wheel rim or road leaving a visual mess easy to see

A code for a 2007 Pt Cruiser of P0452, what does this mean? and how do I go about fixing it?

code is : natural vacuum leak detection
means you have a vacuum leak somewhere, check your gas cap, remove it , if and retighten it, if no luck try to listen for a leak when engine running (be careful of moving parts)bonedivers_10.gif

Loosing brake fluid bad; no apparent leaks anywhere.

If there is no leakage at any place is safe for the liquid is lost from themaster cylinder to the booster

Transmission is leaking fluid. 2004 PT Cruiser

Can not solve that type of issue without seeing vehicle.
Is it common for a trans happens ,and you need to attempt to properly repair. Some leaks are not always fixable with trans in vehicle.
Don't drive it, with a situation where your always adding fluid, you'll forget and burn up the trans.
