Hi
The R134 capicity for your truck is 64oz with rear a/c.
If the system hoses have been disconnected or if you
are replacing any of the system components ie.
compresor/condenser or reciever drier. It is importent
to evacuate the system to remove any moisture from the system before charging, to avoid problems down
the road, I recommend taking it to somone that has
the proper equipment to ensure all moisture is removed and it gets the proper oil charge and won't
get air bound, plus any leaks that remain will be detected. A proper evacuation and charge can be the
difference between luke warm and COLD air.
Hope this helps.

Where is the 123A port to charge the air conditioner on a 1989 Cadillac Allante

Unless that system was changed to Freon R-134A You wont be able to recharge it. Those used R-12. you cannot get r12 any more. It was banned. The low side port is what you are looking for, I you see the compressor mounted on the engine, follow the hoses one goes towards the passenger compartment and one goes towards the front of the car. The one that goes to the front is the low pressure side and it should have a fitting on it that looks like a tire pressure fill cap. That is the one that you want. NOTE that if the system has not been converted to 134a, you cannot use 134a. There are lots of things that have to be changed. It is not cheap to have it changed.

How to add freon to a 2009 dodge journey

You need 22oz for a "front only" a/c system and 32oz of R-134a refrigerant for "front and rear" a/c system.

The compressor is off likely due to insufficient refrigerant charge in the system. Once the minimum required charge has be provided, the compressor clutch should engage (check for blown fuse if it does not). Refrigerant is added only to the low or suction side of the compressor and only as a gas. Do not invert the refrigerant tank in an attempt to add refrigerant as a liquid! Placing the tank in warm water is a better way to fill the system (raises the pressure in the tank) without concern for slugging the compressor.

How to change a speed sensor on 2004 chevy surban

That depends on WHICH speed sensor you want to change. The Vehicle speed sensor? a front wheel speed sensor? A rear wheel speed sensor? an input shaft or turbine speed sensor?

How much freon does a 2005 uplander take?

If you have front and rear air you will need 2.2 lbs of R-134a. If you have front air only you need 1.68 lbs of R-134a. you will also need to use pag oil to refill the system, front and rear system uses 7.77 oz of pad oil and the front only system uses 7.1 oz of pag oil. These are for a dry system, if the system has not been drained and cleaned then you will need to use less depending on the amounts in the system.--------------Click this link below for car troubleshooting problems:---

I need to retrofit and recharge my 1988 Dodge Ram Ac.

First, the old R-12 must be completely evacuated fromt the system. R-12 and R-134A do not mix and won't function together. Once you are sure there's no R-12 left in the system, you need to install an R-134A fill valve on the low side AC line. This is where your refill hose will connect to add R-134A. Once the valve is in place you're ready to fill the system. The compressor requires a minimum of 20psi to engage and should not be filled to more than 45psi.

RECHARGING AC SYSTEM

1.Turn the truck on and turn AC on HIGH
2.Locate the low side AC line (will have a valve and cap similar to the cap on a tire)
3.Insert the oil or R-134A can to the hose (Do not turn the screw to puncture the can yet)
4.Insert the other end of the refill hose to the low side valve
5.Puncture the R-134A can with the screw on the refill hose
6.You should feel the system suction the refrigerant out of the can
7.Check for frost on the AC lines and the air blowing inside the truck
8.If frost develops and the air is cold, you've successfully recharged the system and disconnect the refill hose. DO NOT ADD MORE REFRIGERANT...overcharging the system will damage your compressor and will be less effective
Hopefully this answers your question and you're able to get your AC working again. Best of luck.

Only one charge port. You probably have a leak in one of the lines under the vehicle.
