Remove the small plastic hose for the washers and press the switch to turn them on, if there is water coming through the hose your spray holes are blocked on the wiper arms or the bonnet, wherever they are situated
If there is no water coming through, check for power at the connection for the washer pump, you will have to get someone to press the button or switch and hold it while you test for any power to the pump motor
If there is power there then the pump is faulty, replace the pump and test
the pump is located on the bottom of the washer fluid resevoir, some just push into a rubber seal, if that is the case just pull it out and replace it with the new pump

SOURCE: my windsheild washer fluid motor is not working i

you need to get a 12 volt test light. put the clamp on the positive battery terminal, and probe the two pins on the connector to the washer pump. if one lights up, your ground is ok. now put the clamp on the negative battery terminal, and probe the connector, while having someone try to activate the washer pump. if it lights up, you have power. if you have power and ground, the pump is defective. if either the power or the ground are not working, you need to trace the wiring back and find the break in whichever one is not working - i am assuming you have already checked the fuse, and you have changed the switch, which leaves a wiring issue. good luck!

remove the reservior and thoroughly clean it, then put it back in and pump clean water thru system till it runs clear.as for the marks, mix 40% alcahol to 60% water in a spray bottle and use this to clean your windsheild, empty water out of res. and replace with windsheild washer fluid.the marks may be from washer fluid with rain-x in it, irecommend not using this type

Windsheild washer is not working 2001 mitsibishi eclipse gs

Check the fuse first then check the connection where the washer fluid pump is at the washer fluid reservoir. See if there is any electrical power there, if there is then it's the washer motor has gone bad. If there is no power then it's the switch. Good luck and hope this helps

Cold weather wiper problem

Dear joelgoodison,

Could be the Fuse!
Could be the Wiper Motor Burn't Out if Blades were frozen to windshield when turned on
Until you fix the problem you can buy RainX Wipe-On Glass Solution or Windsheild Washer Fluid which as unbelievable as it sounds will allow you to drive in the all but the worst downpours of rain without wipers!
I love the RainX Windsheild Washer Fluid and rarely use my wipers.
Check the fuses and try RainX and get back to me!
Hope this Helps!

Air suspension compressor

It's located in the front under the hood, between your windsheild washer fluid and the front of the truck. It's set down kind of below the washer fluid.

I hope that helps.
