Hi this can be found by locating the top hose on the radiator, follow it back to the engine/motor, there you will find a housing inside the housing you should find the thermostat..you need to drain the cooling system Remove the radiator hose clamp and radiator hose at the thermostat housing, Remove the thermostat housing mounting bolts, remove thermostat housing ,then you can remove the thermostat it self thermostat...hope this helps happy 4th to you

Why does the heater on my 2002 dodge grand caravan only work in the back of my van?

change thermostat, how fresh is your 50/50 coolant, 50% water is what gives you heat, with thermostat, are all heat controls in correct position ? any obstructions in vent hoses, has debris fallen into defroster vents etc., are rad hoses in good condition ? weak hoses collapse and prevent flow. good luck

2002 dodge 1500 Changed radiator, thermostat, and hoses. No heat

Why was radiator replaced?Did it have heat before ? If it was plugged, the heater core may also be plugged. Try flushing it with a water hose in both directions. I dont know why the botton radiator hose would be cold, the radiator should be a uniform temp and the air coming through the radiator should be HOT, when the engine is at operating temp. What condition was the old coolant? if it was rusty, the water pump may have lower flow than normal.
