Does the 2002 bonneville have a fuel reset switch

If it has an enershia switch (fuel cut off) general motors puts them in the inside of the rear fenders other is usually a yellow push button

BCM body control module and its wiring need checking .

it may be that you didn't run out of fuel but the fuel pump quit-check the fuse-you more than likely need a new fuel pump-the fuel pump and the fuel level sensor are one unit in the fuel tank-cheers Denny

I doubt that, but you could have a parts store check if they are the same part number. The parts department at the dealership could tell you as well.

Turn the radio off. Push the set button then use the scan button to change the time.

Thoroughly check your battery connections and ground wires. remove them and clean them

take gas tank out

1.) turn ignition on,, let it sit for 30 seconds
2.) switch ignition off
3.) start..

if it starts then your fuel pump is pushing enogh pressure ,, u will need to get it changed,,

if it doesnt check your oxygen sensor,, and engine coolant temperature,, both of these control the oxygen fuel mixture and chances are one if malfunctioning..

the vaccum control switch on the dash is bad. it is a funny looking little black thing with several hose hookups on it. remove the control knob for switching from ac top vent to floor vent.very inexpensive. not easy to replace
