Unfortunately there are a couple of very specialized pullers that you need to fit on to the inner hub to remove it. You may be able to get an A/C shop to change the clutch for you cheaply if you take everything to them and explain / beg for mercy. This is how they make their money so some shops may not very sympathetic. The alternative is to by the tools, better auto parts stores should be able to get them for you but they won't be cheap.
Hope this helps,

Can I bypass my ac compressor on a 1998 Buick park avenue

The easiest way to bypass the A/C is to simply pull the fuse or the wires that feed the clutch on the pulley end of the A/C compressor. The belt will still turn the outer pulley - but without the electric clutch engaged - the power loss to freewheel the A/C pulley is minimal. If you insist on NOT turning the A/C pulley, remove the belt if it only turns the A/C compressor. If it goes to other devices, you'll need to determine the size belt that will fit w/o the A/C compressor.

How to install a/c bypass pulley on 1988 buick park avenue

Most ac bypass pulleys simply bolt on where the ac compressor was. when you remove the compressor save the bolts. AC bypass pulleys are car specific. Each one is made to fit a specific engine. there is no such thing as a universal so make sure that you have the correct one.

95 Park ave Ultra AC compressor at clutch is rattling and loud noises. It does not work and I do not want to replace. Ideas on how to stop the noise?

Hello:You might try putting a 1/2 inch diameter rope around the pulleys by passing the a/c compressor. Go to a parts store have them help you measure the amount of rope it took to go around the pulleys. It will be kind of a hit and miss attempt but much cheaper ( shorter belt verses a compressor) Once a clutch pulley assembly is tore up there is not any repair.

Super charger noisy

If the s/c is making a knocking noise that goes away when the throttle is pushed, you could have a coupling problem. Remove the s/c belt, grab the pulley and quickly twist the pulley back and forth from the 10 to 2 positions. There should not be a clunking noise and slowly moving the pulley you should feel a drag while the rotors move, no drag immediately means the coupling is bad.

94 park avenue ac compressor locked up can i bypass?

there should be a manual bypass to remove the clutch to the compressor otherwise measure the belt and go about 10 inches or shorter (just a hint to get the belt off use the tire iron wrench and push the tension pulley toward the cab of the car the thread is reversed)
