First test to see if one wire has power, there should be power on one wire or side of switch, then when pedal is pushed power should flow out of the other side of switch or power should be on other wire,if theres no power to switch then thats the problem. if power does not flow through the switch when the prdal is pushed then you have a bad switch.

Front parking lights stop working. Tested all fuses and other moduels etc in fuse areas under bonnet and inside car all tested okay. All other lights work and tail lights etc. I changed the parker light...

It could be a ground problem. See if you can trace the ground wire from the bulb socket. If you can identify which connector of the bulb socket is the ground, you can do a continuity test from the socket to the frame or body, using a multi meter. You can also use the multi meter to check for voltage at the socket; positive lead of meter to positive connector of socket and negative lead of meter (black) to a ground. If you get voltage ( about 12 V ) then the problem is a broken ground wire.

The audio controls on steering wheel don't work - although the cruise control does

Have you checked the connection under the air bag on the steering wheel but you must remember to disconnect the battery leads then leave the car for 30 minutes for the air bag to discharge before doing that I would pull the radio out from the dashboard and check all the multi plugs on the back of it first there are normally a fuse for multifunctional steering wheel control just check make sure you tested the right fuse

Driverside tail light goes out when hit the brakes and turnsignal fuse keeps blowing out everytime i try to use it. so i have no turnsignal or back up lights because the fuse keeps blowing even if i use...

Two more possible places to look:
I have seen similar problem because of dirt and moisture accumulation in the trailer hitch wiring plug, Does your truck have a tailer hitch? I so, inspect under the wiring plug cover and clean with electric contact cleaner. Also, inspect where the plug wiring harness connect to the taillight/stop light harnesses for broken/exposed wiring that may be shorting out the fuse. This problem is usually seen only in after market installed wiring.
The second place that might have a short is in the turn signal switch on the steering column. The steering wheel and upper column would have to be disassembled to make repair. The wiring could be checked from below dash by removing the steering column wiring harness plug and checking qwirs with a ohm meter for closed short. It is a tedious task.

The driver power window , door locks and power mirror does not work

Sounds like you have a bad drivers door module. It is all built into the window switch.

1996 Ford Windstar tail lights and dash lights stopped working

No. All those lights are on the same fuse and are controlled by the headlamp switch.

Make sure that the fuses were all checked on the fuse panel inside the vehicle under the dash. That is where the fuse for those lights is.

Mustang brake lights dont work

this car has a brake light switch on the pedal check for power in and out. if in and not out change switch. also I believe their is a relay under the hood . then check to see if the multifunction and hazard switch control brake lights i cant remember if they do like gm's but i am also almost sure they do the multifunction is your turn signal wiper arm that goes into steering wheel . after you check the brake switch and relay have some one jiggle the hazard and multi while pressing the brakes see if they come on. you can call ford and ask them about the multi and hazard .

2004 F150 Cruise control will not set or come on

Are you the original owner, has any one had the steering wheel off, do you have a stick or automatic? Are your brake light saying on after you release the brake? The brake switch could be touchy. The steering will has a end of line resistor, if it does not see the 2.2 k resistor then it shuts down, you could hook an ohm meter up and measure all the resistance while truning the steering wheel, just be careful when playing around that area you don't set off your air bag.

Tail lights and brake lights not working - not fuse - what can it be?

Brake light switch, located on upper brake pedal should be checked, that is most likely your brake light issue, but U say tail lights aren't working, but running lights do, tail lights and running lights I would consider to be the same, so can u clarify that for me? Let me know how the u do w/ brake light switch, and if u have issue w/ tail lights?

I had the same problem with my 2001. I found it was the multi function switch. Better known as your turn signal switch. I found that the hazard switch portion of it had shorted. replacement is fairly easy, aftermarket part is available, much cheaper than GM.

All the fuses have been checked. One fuse was blown but it was the 20 amp power outlet, I believe for the outlet under the cig lighter.
