There is a small bulb behind the clock. First you need to pop out the clock with a small flat head screw driver disconnect the plug in the back and there is a small bulb. The bulb twist out with a screw driver and then twist the new one in. I believe it is a dealer part only. It takes about 5 minutes to change not hard.

How do I make clock light bright

First is to adjust the dash lights which is on your light control. Should be a thumb toggle that you use to turn on your dome lights. All the way up will brighten your dash and clock lights. There should also be a setting in your menu on the clock/radio itself.

Subaru Forester, 2003. clock light and dome light not working (clock works, just no light at night). all other dash lights appear to function. i replaced fuse marked 12 in engine fuse panel, described...

The clock works, correct? It is just not illuminating when your headlights are turned on? If this is the case then it is most likely that you have 2 burned out bulbs. The forester clock bulb is Sylvania bulb part #2723

Hope that helps! I have a bunch of clock related info on my website www.autoclockrepair.com. Let me know if I can be of assistance.

How do i turn the clock light back in? I lost my manual and know it is easy because i havedone it before, i just cant recall how to.

The clock back light comes on when the ignition key is turned to on. If the key is on and the parking and/or headlights are turned on, the clock back light becomes controlled by the instrument lights dimmer control knob on the left side of the instruments panel under the tachometer.

The clock back light bulb does burn out and is very difficult to change because the whole instrument gauge cluster must be removed for access. Many people I know who have purchased pre-owned Odysseys are under the impression that the clock does NOT have a back light for this reason.

Clock light not working; clock not visible

Does your dome light work? If it does not then the fuse that controls the clock and lights has blown. If only the clock is dead then it is a bad clock. This is a very common issue with Camry clocks, unfortunately. They were manufactured pretty poorly. If you want to have it repaired with a lifetime guarantee, please check out www.autoclockrepair.com. All the info is there on how to remove the clock. Drop me a note if you have any questions, thanks!

My clock light on my 2004 Subaru Forester won't light anymore. The dome light works so I know its not a fuse.

Is this for a 1999 Forester or for a 2004 forester, the title lists both years. If it is a 1999 model then the problem most likely resides within the clock itself. Unfortunately, many clocks of this vintage go bad over time. I offer a reasonable repair service and many clock removal instruction sheets at www.autoclockrepair.com
I'd be happy to assist.

Old m reg escort 16v interior red light on clock stays on - ??

sounds like the clock is wired to the +12v from the stereo instead of ILLUM from the ignition, this light should only come on with the headlights... Connect the wire from the clock bulb to ILLUM on the stereo wiring - I cant find an escort manual so youll have to find which wire is clock power and which one is clock lighting, nedless to say you leave the clock power and ground as they are - just cut the lighting wire and attatch it to the ILLUM for the stereo with a crimp or block connector. ...
tape up everything you leave disconnected.
now the light will only come on with dipped or beam lights, not just all the time on its own.

Toyota crolla time clock not working

Check to make sure that the 15 amp TAIL fuse, the 15 amp DOME fuse and the 15 amp CIG fuse are all good. If you have taillamps that light, a dome light that lights, and the cigar lighter works, you need to replace the clock.
