Its either the fuel pump or relay, crank sensor or ignition module or coil. Or even possibly a failed computer, If it will start with quick start then its a failed fuel pump or relay or fuse for it. If it still does not start then testing components will be needed in the ignition system

Fuel pump does not work. any tips on replacing? would not come on when ignition was turned on, till after a few minutes it would kick in

There is nothing wrong with your fuel pump. Your jeeps main ecu needs repair. It is not sending current to the fuel pump relay right away as it should. You can tell this is the problem because the check engine light does not light up, on the dash, until a few minutes later after the ignition is turned on. Only then will the fuel pump relay energize and the fuel pump prime. It's the classic known delayed check engine light problem that plagues those generation jeeps. Have the ecu computer repaired.

Changed fuel pump, still no fuel.

Did you change the fuel filter? If not change it. Is the fuel pump actually running? Listen at the fuel filler with cap off while someone turns on the ignition without starting the engine. The pump should run for a few seconds. If not, check the fuse and fuel pump relay.

Where is the fuel shut off switch on a 1995 jeep chorokee

there isn't any switch in there. Your fuel pump runs off the fuel pump relay which is controlled from the asd relay. That responds to a signal from the computer.
if it starts and does not see a signal from the crank position sensor, the engine will shut down. You did not say what the problem is but if you see no fuel, check power to the fuel pump then jump over to the pump relay and the asd relay and check them. If you find power at the pump connector harness but don't hear the pump running when you first turn the key on then likely the pump has failed. any further component testing should be done using as chilton or haynes manual as a guide and a decent multi meter to take readings with. Most electrical harness problems can be found at or close to the connectors unless the vehicle was in an accident and wires have been compromised.

1995 Jeep Wrangler 2.5L Fuel Pump/Check engine light

Could be one of several items...I'd check the fuel pump relay, auto shutdown relay and the ignition switch itself. I'd bet on it being one of those relays but, we all have been fooled at least once!!! I'd also make sure that body and engine grounding is good and clean. Relays can't work properly without a good ground.

To start my jeep i would have to turn the key and wait til a clicking noise would stop and then it would start no problem. then it took longer and longer waiting to start the jeep. now it won't start at...

If it is the fuel pump, the engine will crank but will not start immediately or not at all. Check first the battery voltage and the connections of the starter and even the battery terminals. If all check out you may want to look at the starter relay. You may have a problem with the relay or the capacitor or it could be a wiring issue.

Jeep won't start until a clicking sound comes from fuse box

The click you hear is the fuel pump relay. It gets its signal to energize from the PCM.If you have a faulty Crankshaft Position Sensor, the PCM will not work. Check for a bad fuel pump relay and also all of the other sensors: Camshaft Position Sensor, MAP Sensor, Idle air Control, Intake Air Sensor, etc.
