i turned on the car. In the morning... it was fine... i went to the store. I came back turned the car off. I decided to clean my car. So i did. I left the back door open to clean out the back seat. I had the door open for 2 1/2 hours. I noticed that the dome light was on. After i finished. I went to turn it over and nothing...nothing at all. No bells No lights Nothing.
I got jumper cables from a friend. I got my botfriend to jump my car with his car. The panel... board came on when i turned the key. The i took out my key and the panel stayed on. But the car was still attached by the jumpper cables. Then we removed the cables and the panel board turned off.

The first thing is to see how old the battery is. Batteries are rated for a certain life in MONTHS. There is a sticker on them that is supposed to be maked when the battery is installed. Then you look and see if it is a 24 month or 36 month etc and if it is past that date then I would get another one. HOWEVER, there could be something wrong with the charging circuit on the car or some other thing that is causing a discharge. So if the battery is new or you get a new battery,You would have to check for something called "parasitic drain." And you need to see about the output from the alternator.

Couple of things that could have happened.

Did you drain the battery while you were cleaning the car. Radio on, dome lamp on...i've done that before.

Vaccuming and digging underneath the instrument panel it is possible you pulled out a connector, look around see if htere are any loose wires. Push the connectors together make sure they are locked.

Good Luck

Use a bottle of yellow HEET dry gas / fuel dryer to remove moisture in your fuel tank.

Check the coil + wires for water / moisture drip / wetness.

My truck wont go over 35

Could be a lot of things I would start here. If the engine is shaking at idle or not it maybe the spark plug wires. easy way to check start the truck take a spray bottle and spray a mist on the wires to see if the truck runs worst make sure you stand back while doing this so you don't get shocked.

Wont Start - No Spark

Older VW's and Audi's are notarious for this type of behavior. You actaully need a Vag or good diagnostic tester to tell you which plugs are mis-firing. You will need to replace a coil-pac or two. VW's issued a recall notice about 3 months ago about this issue and intends to re-imburse owners on certain models and years for coil-pac repalcement. After market coil-pacs should cost less than $50.00 each. Hope this helps.

I have a 1990bmw 325i. i turned the car off one day. ran in the store. ten minutes later came out and the car wouldnt start. left the car. came back thirty minutes later the car started. drove the car 25...

Car not starting or turning over indicates towards multiple possibilities. It can be issue with battery or weak battery. But if battery checks out ok, then it can be starter issue or faulty alternator or problem with low fuel pressure or no spark at spark plugs due to dirty spark plugs or faulty ignition coil or injectors getting cracked or dirty and needs to be cleaned.

To confirm the problem, the basic troubleshooting is required.

Car starts, then doesn't, then does, then doesn't

check the fuel pump relay! It sounds like it is one of your relays. If it was an electrical or sensor problem, the check engine light would be on.
