I'm trying to find backup lights fuse box location

My reverse lights do not work and I think it may be a fuse but I do not have a manual reflecting fuse locations and I don't want to pull all of them

Try the switch in the gearbox ,pull the plug off and put a paper clip into the multiplug to join the wires together and then see if they work before you start pulling all the fuses ,chances are of a high probability thats its the switch

How do I find electrical problem of blowing fuse to backup light when I put truck in reverse for extended period?

It could be in the reverse switch or a wire rubbed through somewhere, or the light could have bad connections, hope this helps

No reverse light, all fuse good. reverse Switch?

It's not that simple anymore . The transmission range sensor switch is what they have now . This range sensor informes the PCM - engine computer what gear the vehicle is in. When you put the gear selector into reverse B+ voltage from the range sensor to the PCM tells the PCM reverse has been selected , the PCM then will energize the reverse lamp relay (located in the under hood fuse/relay box) there by turning on the reverse lamps . There are two fuse's in the under hood fuse/relay box . F27 10amp. & F35 10amp.

Reversing lights wont work

Look in your owners manual to see where your fuse box and relay box is located. Check to see if fuse is blown in the fuse box first.

Check the fuse and bulbs, I f they are OK then maybe your backup switch is bad which should be located on your transmission. Good luck

Back up light not working

hello, the back up lights are usually on the same fuse as the tail lights so if they are working it's not a fuse, if the tail lights are not working replace the tail fuse. Otherwise the problem is most the backup light switch, on the manual transmission it's a separate switch located on the transmission on an automatic it is incorporated into the neutral start switch also located on the transmission but on the shaft where the shift selector attaches.
