Question about 2000 Nissan Altima
On the right side door on the interior of the car opposite side of the mirror there is either going to be an individual panel covering the nuts that are holding the mirror in place. They may be recessed in individual holes or readily exposed. The panel may sometimes be part of the door panel which means you may have to remove the door panel. If it is a power mirror the plug for the harness is located right behind the door panel beneath the mirror as well. Usually a 10mm socket is necassary to remove the nuts. Good luck hope this helps.
