What engine size and type do you have? A 6 cylinder vin code E with SOHC or vin code X with EFI ? How many miles are on the engine?
I suspect a secondary ignition component is failing, but I need to know the engine type. Are there any trouble codes displayed or retrieved?
Thanks in advance.

How does one say "somewhat helpful" and refuse to answer important questions regarding your vehicle problem? Your never going to get a correct answer without some input on your part. This type of disregard is totally odd to say the least. I could have told you to just replace a part, but I feel regardless of what anyone tells you, you can't fix it anyway. Why bother wasting our time.

You most likely ignored problems and maintence on this vehicle, now your stuck with a larger issue.

Right, but you still have not answered important questions to allow anyone to help you. This info is paramount in communicating to others. You replied with useless info, and still havene't answered the useful questions that were asked.

Hi

You probably have an electrical problem. I'd recommend connecting an OBD-II scanner to the computer and recording data while you drive so that you can see what happens during one of these events. Set it up to record some critical parameters to the fuel and ignition, like misfire counts, and maybe short term fuel trim.

If the scanner records that communications is lost when the car stalls, then you lost power to the computer.
Please check the links for a detailed discussion regarding your query….

Make sure that there is no sensor wire crossed to another sensor. If for example a knock sensor wire is mistakenly plugged into the temperature sensor wire it will do that.

to be sure let the engine cool down then check the coolant level if is low than normal put some until reach the normal level then start the truck dont drive it on the road in five minutes or less will be hot enough to creat pressure on the cooling sistem check for leaks around the engine if the weather is too cold some steam will come out from the exaust pipe and some times a little bite of water from the butom of the moufler but dont have to be antifrezz if is coolat coming from the exaust sistem beter tow the truck is cheaper to change a cilinderhead gasquet than the engine good luck
