depends on the issue you have. I have one that is 20 years old and has 145,000+ miles on it and its still like new.

There is not a " mileage" to replace a transmission. As long as it is maintained with fluid changes it is quite easy for it to last as long as the car. If it has not been maintained regularly it may need rebuilt.

How do I change clutch adjustment arm on 1992 Subaru legacy

If you mean the release arm that goes into the transmission, removal of the transmission is required.

If you mean the rod from the slave cylinder to the release arm, undo the two bolts that secure the slave cylinder, and the rod will come out.

92 Subaru Legacy 4 speed automatic transmission awd stops an rocks back in forth when manually placed in first gear, why?

I suspect that you have higher mileage on the transmission and its a worn out the first gear clutch pack. I would get it checked by a proper transmission repair shop.

1992 Subaru legacy ignition switch turns on but it doesnt give turning sound to start engine.

I've changed quite a few ignition switches on Subaru's after 150,000 miles. It could also be a bad connection at the starter (the small wire) or a bad starter.

I have a automatic 2003 Subaru legacy L 108,000 miles, I had new belts and a water pump replaced last year, I just had the spark plugs changed. When I try to accelerate, it is very slow and the car revs...

My guess would be either the transmission fluid and filter needs to be srviced or the transmission is having a issue with the shift linkage.. Does it improve when the car warms up ?

My 1997 Subaru Outback Legacy Limited started jerking when in Drive- between first and 2nd gears. I then started driving in 2nd / 3rd, then drive. When in traffic very long time, would not engage at all...

Sounds like the transmission has reached the end of service life. I have a 93 that did the same thing. It would drive until the transmission heated up then nothing, except for reverse. I had a TRW rebuild transmission installed and now my 93 Legacy has 500,000 miles. $2,200 to repair vs $25,000 to replace. The only thing you would miss is the new car smell for a few weeks. But you can keep $20,000 plus.
