Will 17" rim fit 19" rim like some models have

When changing rim sizes, you need to manage the "height" of the tire to compensate. Usually folks are shifting to larger rims so to keep the circumference the same, a lower profile tire is used. If you are going from 19s to 17s, you will need a much "taller" tire. I believe Tire Rack has a calculator that can help with tire selection. Tire Tech Information Tire Size Conversion Chart

Tire size

Yes as long as u change the rims also not just the tires these numbers 195/60/15 195 is tire width 60 is tire height and 15 is rim size, most all Hondas will fit up to 215/35/18 with no rubbing issues on factory suspension ..... Every time the rim size changes u have change the height of the tire so it will fit some go as far as " stretching " the tire to allow larger rims or extreme offsets

Hey I was wondering if you could please offer further advice on the 2004 S60 R tire/rim situation? I have 18's on there right now and they RUB LIKE CRAZY! and my 18 inch Volvo rims that I got...

Sounds like your Rims and Tires are too big. I'm surprised the place that sold them to you didn't tell you those wouldn't fit. Did they at least advise you that the larger tire will through your Speedometer off? If you change the Rim and Tire size you have to change the speed gear in the transmission in order to keep your speedometer accurate.

My 2001 grand cherokee rims are 17" what is the exact size, and what other rim would fit.

Hello, Thank you for trusting FixYa.com to help get you going! The rims on your Cherokee, (and any other vehicle) are measured based on the tire that is designed to fit it. Technically the rims is just shy of 17". They measurement is taken at the base of the lip at the tire seat, ( the place on the rim that the tire seals against.) There are many outlets with rims for sale from custom to OEM, available in almost every city in America. Depending on the look or function that you are seeking, prices range greatly. Good luck, and if you have additional information, questions, or comments please return, and I will respond quickly to your concerns. Thanks again for trusting FixYa.com, have a great day!.

Tires and rims

this is a common problem with cars like yours, you need to check the owner manual, and see what they call for in there, also check your driver side door jam, there you should see a sticker that has the tire size on it, sometimes you can plus size a tire, but with your car i would not cause if you go larger #1 you change driveability, you will have things rubbing and breaking, #2 the car was designed for the tires it has on it, I would call your dealership, and speak with the service department to see if they recomend any larger size tire for it, but i highly doubt it... changing the tire size on a car or truck or going larger then they recomend will cause you more of a headach then help..... hope this helps you... have a good day

I have a nissan pathfinder 2005 off wheel 16".

yes you can easily change rim sizes without any problems the problem comes into play depending on road conditions that you travel on as to get the same size tire you will have a lot less sidewall which means it will be easier to dent rims and lose the seal. going to a larger tire would solve this but you would have to lift the vehicle to do it. i do not think i would go any larger than 18" so the tires are not too small of a sidewall where speed bumps will destroy rims.

Tire Wear

Is the wear spot on the inside treads or on the inside tire wall? Since you put on new/larger rims I would say it is either improper tire inflation or your ball joints are either dying on you or they aren't setup right for that size tire/rim. Also, new rims can throw off your speedo as well.
