The 3 Way heater connector "T" is broke. How do I fix it?

My Kia was overheating and when I tried to put anti-freeze in it, it was leaking as soon as I put it in. Then when we figured it was the hose we bought a new one and then the connector broke off so easy like it was ready to come off like a loose tooth. Now we have the 3 way connector "T" to fix it but it's too hard to get in there to fix it. What is the best way to fix and get in there? Please respond asap. Thanks...

WHEN HEATER TURNED ON AND ENGINE WARM I SMELL ANTI- FREEZE CAN NOT LOCATE LEAKS

Are you able to see if it is the heater core? Located in dash on passenger side. Can often see them from bottom of the dash if you stick your head down by the floor boards.

if you r getting smell in car and fog on windshield, with known history for common problem, you have a heater core leaking, You could try a stop leak from a parts supplier, but you need a heater core, and is a rather big job, as entire dash needs to be pulled back to axcess

try stop leak, if that doesn't fix, you didn't waste alot of time and money

good luck, and if you wanna tackle job, let me know i will send guided steps to help you along

Heater immediately fogs all windows and there is a sweet odor in the cab of 2003 Buick Rendezvous, defroster works fine, but will not clear the windows after heat is put on

Sounds like a possible heater core failure(hole in it) the smell indicates to me the coolant(anti-freeze) is leaking into the passenger compartment.
Check the carpet in front of the front passenger seat for moisture, this would confirm heater core leak.
Good luck !

My 2005 Kia overheated. We changed the thermostat

YOU COULD HAVE A BLOWN HEAD GASKET, MOST REPAIR SHOPS CAN DO A BLOCK TEST WHICH WILL TELL YOU IF HEAD GASKET IS BAD, ALSO CHECK TAIL PIPE FOR WHITE COLOR SMOKE.

Sounds to me like your coolant level is low. I would suggest fixing the leak that you see, overheating to many times can cause a blown head gasket which is a very expensive repair.

Good Luck, I hope this helps.

2003 KIA SEDONA APPEARS TO BE LEAKING ANTI FREEZE AT REAR AXLE WHAT CAUSES AND CAN OWNER FIX IT

It sounds like a corroded line running to the rear heater core. If you're mechanically inclined, you can definitely replace it yourself. I would reccomend replacing both lines, as the material Kia originally used is very prone to corrosion. They realized this and now the replacement parts are much higher quality, mostly rubber and no more pot metal.

The anti-freeze/coolant seems to just disapear.

first check the exhaust... if it is white you have a blown head gasket.... next issue may be a stuck thermostat next place to look is the water pump, there is a "weep" hole on the casting, if that is leaking you will need to replace the water pump

2004 Kia Sorento overheating-anti freeze disappearing

If it's not leaking out, it has to be going somewhere. Is your radiator cap good.

If it's not the cap it sounds like its going into the engine thru a blown head gasket perhaps.
