My car wont go past 5000 rpm n i had no check light

no idea on autos as not many here in europe ,but on a vehicle this old look for a vacumn pipe from inlet manifold to the gearbox.

If your standing still in park it wont rev past 3000 rpm as its got a limiter on it And only revs past 3000 rpm in drive on the move.

Since you didn't say what engine you have, I am assuming it to be a 3.7 L. Code P2305 is set for insufficient ionization of the #2 coil. 1. Inspect the spark plugs for correct application, these should have NGK platinum spark plugs installed. Inspect the plugs for any signs of misfiring, such as carbon tracking on the spark plug insulator or the coil boot. Inspect for cracked spark plugs or incorrect gap. Inspect for any kind of fouling on the spark plugs. Replace the spark plugs or the coils as needed.

2. Verify the wiring is not shorted to ground from the coils to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM).

3. Keep in mind that anything that can affect the air fuel mixture can cause this code to set. Be SURE that there are NO vacuum leaks, the injector is not at fault, etc. Moving parts one at a time (spark plug; coil; injector) to "known good" cylinders is the best way to diagnose this trouble code.

Ihave never owned a car or truck that i needed to consistently needed to exceed 5000 rpm. Check your manual and see what the average operating rpms should be. Unless it is a ferari in disfuise its probably not meant to run in that range.

run the fault codes and check for rpm limiter fault.

Fuel pump?

Probably a Vaccum leak which Vaccum hoses need to be checked or Vaccum hoses needs to be reversed or it could be the position motion sensors.

Due for a transaxle rebuild,common on that veh

I suggest to check trans fluid level and quality (color and odor), other choice could be a valve solenoids problem (if automatic trans). In order to check will need take off trans oil pan.

Does the check engine light come on? Also have you checked the engine oil level?

Check emission fault codes and sensors.
