How low does it get. This is normal. The oil pressure will go a little lower as the engine and the oil warms up.

5.0 L Oil pressure drops once engine warms up

Sounds like the main bearings are probably going.
Did you pull a couple of caps and look at the bearings when you had the pan off ?
It could be dirt in the passages but probably wear on the crankshaft.
As oil warms up it thins out and pressure is lost thru gaps in the bearings.

1999 JIMMY OIL PRESSURE drops with RPMs after warm

Normal is 10w30.
If the oil pressure gauge is correct, my guess would be worn engine bearings and / or oil pump.

2001 camaro 3800 eng. when eng is cold oil pressure is high after warms up oil pressure drop very low at idle. why??

When the engine and oil are cold it will show a high pressure because of the viscosity of the oil. When it warms up the oil is thinner. If it doesn't drop below 20-25 psi at warm idle I wouldn't worry about it as that is normal.

Oil pressure gauge shows low / high / middle changed sensor did

Hello mb4494: My name is Roger and I will help you. If by changing the oil pressure sending unit the problem did not change. I would perform a oil pressure test. This is done by removing the oil pressure sensor and inserting a oil pressure gauge. This can be done by yourself or by a repair shop. This needs to be done on a cold engine. Start the engine and observe the oil pressure cold.as the engine warms up observe the pressure. The pressure will drop off as the engine warms up.Should the oil pressure drop below 10 to 12 PSI. then you have internal engine trouble. More then likely a bearing problem. Try dropping the truck into gear and see what the pressure drops off to. Again if the pressure drops below 10 to 12 PSI. you have a problem. I would also check to make sure you have the correct oil switch. a truck with a oil light uses a oil pressure switch. with a gauge you would use a oil pressure sending unit. Sorry for the long reply but want to make sure you check the pressure correctly. Please rate the quality of the answer as this is how we know the answer was correct. Thank You for using Fix Ya. Oil Pressure Drops While Driving

your oil pump is either weak or there is sludge i9n the oil pan. my adives is to have the oil pan dropped . chances are sludge is the culprit. as the oil get's warm the pressure should only drop slightly but pressure is generally dictated by engine rpm. pumps are gear driven so if it was a bad pump your oil pressure would start out very low at start up.

I have a slk55 2006. When Cold starting the enginee. Loud clicking noise occurred when the enginee run @ 5000r/m. Noise comes from the upper part of the enginee. Till the enginee warm up to normal temp.,...

If your revving the engine to 5000 rpm when its cold, chances are the clicking noise is your valves. Cold oil will not get to the top end for proper lubrication until the engine warms up, and running at 5000 rpm with no oil?? not good. If your treating the car like that, I can't believe it hasn't blown up yet.
