Question about 1998 Saturn SL
How do I tighten a loose turn signal lever on my 98 Saturn SL-2? The whole mechanism (including wiper switch, ignition, etc.) rotates about an inch when I use the signal, which is also very clunky compared to other cars I've owned.
You will have to buy a used or new multi-function switch and have it installed. Used they are cheap on ebay, new you will get screwed by a dealer. I would not pull the steering wheel and do the replacement myself unless I was an experienced mechanic, you can really screw up your airbag. There is a sort of discount Saturn parts dealer in MD, that is where I get my new Saturn parts. Their website is getsaturnparts.net or something like that. Google it.
