How to change battery

It is no different than installing a battery in any car that has a regular 12 volt system. Make sure the vehicle is turned completely off. Take either a 10mm or 12mm open end wrench and loosen the terminal connections. Do the negative side first ( - ) and then the positive ( + ). If you are unsure of which is which, look on the side or top of the battery for the symbols. Most batteries have a tie down, so take your 12mm wrench and unscrew the nuts from the two rods coming up the side of the battery that are going through a bracket that spans the top of the battery. Remove the spanner and the cables from the terminal and pull it out. Put the new one in reverse order connecting the positive side last.

Hope this helps, James Booth

Do i really have to take off the passenger tire to get to the battery? Can you please give me detailed instructions on how to change the battery for my 2001 concord?

You have to remove the air filter box to expose the straps that hold the battery in place. Then raise the vehicle safely, remove the passenger-side front wheel, and unscrew the plastic lining in the fender.
Once the liner is moved, the battery is exposed... then you can undo the cables and pull the battery out.
Reverse for installation. Goodluck

I cant find spark plugs

I am writing you the method on how to change sparkplugs, you may now have an idea where spark plug is loacted.

The Ford Expedition uses eight spark plugs to accommodateits eight-cylinder engine. Replacing the spark plugs every 75,000 miles is animportant part of overall vehicle maintenance. 1. Disconnectthe negative (black) battery cable from the battery terminal. Remove thewiring harnesses from the spark plug coils. There will be four on each side ofthe engine block, which you can remove by simply pulling them out of the sparkplug coils. 2. Unscrew the 7mm bolt from each of the spark plug coils usinga socket wrench and 7mm socket. 3. Pull each spark plug coil out of the engine block. Pull themout slowly, being careful not to damage or tear the coils. 4. Use a socket wrench and spark plug socket to unscrew eachspark plug from the engine block. Once you remove these, discard them. 5. Place the new spark plugs into the engine block and tightenthem using the socket wrench and spark plug socket. 6. Slide the spark plug coils back into the engine block. 7. Bolt the spark plug coils back into place using a socketwrench and 7mm socket. 8. Reattachthe wiring harnesses to the spark plug coils. 9 . Connect the negative battery cable to the negative batteryterminal.

Need to change the parking light

Disconnect the ground cable from the negative battery terminal.
Remove the amber colored parking light lens. On older vehicles remove the screws that secure the lens to the vehicle's body. On newer vehicles, the lens is usually retained by hidden clips that can be disengaged by gently prying the lens away from the vehicle's body. Depending on the design of your vehicle, either press in on the parking light bulb and rotate it slightly to disengage it from the socket, or unscrew it from the socket as you would a household bulb. Install a new light bulb into the socket. Be sure to buy the proper bulb for your car's make, model and year. Reinstall the amber lens, either by gently pushing it back into place or reinstalling the screws that retain it.Reconnect the ground cable to the negative battery terminal

I bought two speed sensor for my dodge neon 2002 and i have no clue where to find to install it?

Instructions Things You'll Need:
  • Wrench
  • Jack and four jackstands (optional)
  1. Step 1 Loosen the bolt on the negative battery cable and slide the connector off of the battery. The battery is on the right side of the engine compartment. The negative battery cable is black.
  2. Step 2 Jack up the vehicle and place it securely on jackstands. If you cannot raise the car, remove the air filter box, battery and battery tray. These are all on the right side of the engine, connected by bolts.
  3. Step 3 Locate the vehicle speed sensor. It is on top of the transaxle, near an inner CV joint. If your Neon has a manual transmission, the plug will be oval-shaped with three wires and connected with a bolt. Automatic transmissions will have a round plug and sensor. Use the replacement sensor as a reference while searching for the sensor.
  4. Step 4 Disconnect the sensor. For manual transmissions, squeeze the tab on the electrical connector and pull. Unscrew the bolt holding the sensor to the transmission. The plug on automatic transmissions is held in place with a locking tab underneath the connector. Pry it open and pull off the connector. Unscrew the sensor from the transmission.
  5. Step 5 Install the replacement vehicle speed sensor and reconnect the cable.
  6. Step 6 Remove the air filter box and throttle body if your Neon has an automatic transmission. A second vehicle speed sensor is located on the transmission below the throttle body. It is connected in the same way as the other sensor and can be found behind two rubber hoses on the transmission housing. Replace it the same way you replaced the other sensor.
  7. Step 7 Lower the car and replace any parts you removed to access the sensors.
