97 Nissan 200sx 2.0l....car wont stay running when put in gear. When idling sometimes when engine is reved up it stalls, other times while idling I can rev it up and its smooth but once I put it in gear it...

You'll need to change the distributor, as the distributor shaft oil seal has gone bad. Without sufficient spark, you'll have no power. Don't forget a new cap/rotor.

99 nissan quest p0301, I replaced the sparkplugs already and im still having the same code, whats could it be?

Pretty sure this engine has a distributor. Could be a bad ignition wire, cap or rotor. Pick up all 3 and change em out. Pretty cheap fix. Check ebay and put in "nissan quest ignition". Or take a trip to autozone carquest etc... If your engine had coil packs and not a distributor, it is usually a bad pack. Good luck

I recently replace the timing chain in my nissan pick. I moved the distributor when I was removing the front cover and now it won't start. How do I fix this?

find top dead center on clyinder 1 a good way to do this is take off valve cover and line up cam notch with mark on head check to make sure crank shaft timing also is lined up.Pull out distributor and re install so that the rotor inside the distributor is pointing to number 1 plug wire.(find the number 1 spark plug. You will need to remove the distributor cap.Make sure that the distributor is all the way in when checking rotor position.

Where is the pickup coil located on 1997 dodge ram

he pick-up coil/stator assembly is located under the distributor cap, and once the distributor cap is removed from the distributor, just remove the ignition rotor, and then simply un-plug the wire connector to the the pick-up coil/stator and then lift it straight up and away from the distributor, and when re-installing the pick-up coil/stator be sure to align the square tab and the rounded tab on the pick-up coil/stator to match with the distributor housing and with the distributor cap and install the ignition rotor and the distributor cap, and then re-connect the wire connector to the pick-up coil/stator.

1997 Nissan Pickup Won't Start in very High Humidity

Sounds like there may be water or condensation entering your distributor cap. Cheap fix and might be obvious if you inspect its inside.. look for corrosion or moisture.
