Quickest way to get "Back on the Road," is Join Alfa Club, and get links for your car's parts! In the future Year, Model would help too, because I don't know if it's a 2.0 4, or a V-6.
sounds like a fan or fan clutch issue. i dont know if you have an electric or manual (engine driven) fan because you didnt provide year, model of alfa, or engine. could also be a partially clogged radiator
Go to settings on display - press trip button to get settings, then press right hand knob, turn same knob for set date/time, then I choose rda setting, this allows car to pick up correct time always from the radio hope this helps - I have problem with my driver's seat adjustment, will go back and forwards but not up and down!!
Have you tried adjusting it, a lot of horns are adjustable, you will find a little screw (usually phillips head) with a small lock nut at base, (not always) loosen nut and turn screw, if it works tighten nut at loudest point, good luck
Alfa Romeos are awesome cars but not reliable!! Have a look at a Peugeot 306 CC as long as it is the late model one with the tiptronic (ZF ) transmission. Here in New Zealand you can't go wrong with Toyota or Nissan 4X4 vehicles ( almost all of ours are Diesel and you can expect 300,000km trouble free as long as you service them regularly.) I drive a Hilux Diesel ( 1987 ) with 500,000 km on it and it is still totally reliable.
get a pair of needle nose pliers and pull the cable with it it..should open the hood so u can check ur engine fluids also try pulling it and have someone tap the hood with their palm .. sometimes this also works ..
