The Internet, though, has a large number of web sites where
you can buy service manuals and schematics from bookstores,
publishers, and other collectors. Here is just a sampling of
what sites are out there:
replace fuel filter, air filter, spark plugs, wires, distributor cap /rotor, if you have one. new oil with your filter ? just thought I'd ask, have a auto parts store pull code to see why your service engine soon light is on. this will tell you what sensor needs replaced, I'll bet its the oxygen sensor !
Sounds like you need a new fuel pump. The service engine soon light will probably be a code for runnung LEAN. ( Lack of Fuel ) for low fuel delivery when it's needed.
Sounds like it may have an electrical issue or solenoid problem in the transmission. Best bet would be to have a good trans guy diagnose the problem so you are not spending money needlessly.
if it was me i would give these guys a call and talk to them they sells only GM-parts its Schram auto & truck parts 1800-292-1032 and they website is www.schramauto.com and maybe they can help you narrow it down good luck Michigan Man.
