SOURCE: 2006 Jeep Wrangler won't start

First, make sure you can turn the engine by hand. If you can't then the starter can't turn it either. Have someone else turn the key and look for the source of the click...may be a relay. Go over the starting circuit with a volt meter. Check for power at the starter main terminal and then with the key turned to "start" check for power at the trigger terminal on the starter. Check battery voltage and check relay operation.
You have a neutral safety switch on the transmission if its an automatic and a clutch switch if it's a stick. Check them as well. Make sure battery grounding on fender and block are also clean and secure.

It sounds like you have a bad neutral safety switch or your linkage is worn enough that it's not registering properly.

The interior lights on 1993 Jeep Wrangler have no

Find the pin switch on the front of the drivers side door jam, check the back side of the switch, (near the E brake pedal) make sure the plug is attached. It just plugs in. It is easy to plug and unplug the wiring to this switch on the YJ's so you can drive with the doors off and not worry about your interior lights being on and draining the battery when the engine is off.

Reverse lights are staying on. The car is a 93 jeep YJ

This problem is usually caused when the switch in the gearbox siezes. It is easy to replace as you can get to it from underneath the car. Once you have found it, switch the ignition on but engine not running, and check that the reverse lights are off, push a bent paperclip into the end of each wire to make a circuit and the lights should be on. Your local spares shop will have a replacement.

Accessory connector that plugs into the ignition switchgets hot

It is an accessory output, but the main cause is mostly for the blower motor, sense it draws more amps than anything else,it is most likely the problem, repair the connector, and if it still gets hot, leave the blower off to see if this is the problem,if it does not get that hot, with the blower off, replace the blower,if it still gets off with the blower off, replace the ignition switch.
