please follow the following procedures:
- Check the fuse, there is a list and a component location table in your
owner´s manual
- Is the fuse OK this is getting tricky ;) Look for the horn, it should be
mounted somewhere under the front bumper. Use a Voltmeter or an LED probe to find out if there is voltage delivered to the horn itself.
If there is system voltage (12 volts) on the horn´s plug, the horn is defective. If there is no voltage at the plug while somebody is depressing the horn on the steering wheel, it´s time to see the shop.
A defective horn contact switch or even the body control module may cause the malfunction, unfortunately there´s no way to service these units without diagnosis equipment and special tools.
