I have a 1996 Blazer 4X44.3 engine 4L60E trans.the engine is new with only 900 miles on it. The trans is new with 386 miles on it. The Park Neutral Switch on the trans is brand new. The prndl printed circut board led will not light up in any position except when the key is in the unlock position it will light the 2nd gear led in ROD21st positionsbut when the key is turned to the run position none of the led's light up. Continuity checks for Park and neutral confirm the Parkeutral switch is adjusted correctley. I have replaced the prndl circut board 4 times with the same results.

I am no blazer expert but if only the second gear lights up, it sounds like the transmission either thinks its hot because of a bad temp switch or its low level switch is messed up. I would check all switches and systems on the tranny.

Want to bypass nss temporarily 2000 blazer

nss = pns= PRNDL switch, = TRS , trans range switch

No engine told , or if manual or auto transl (both have nss)
RPO code MW2, M30 or M50 trans?
only auto has PRNDL switch.
will that depends on engine and the matching transmission there
not told that. chevy blazer, 2wd or 4wd? not told.
4L60E (i have a manual on trans to , this one)
2.2L engine or 4.3L engine not told.
crank fuse blown?
there is starter (crank) relay.
if it does not click this relay (dead starter)
the PRNDL (wild guess A/T box) is bad.
it is located on the transmission

1995 blazer 4l60e trans just rebuilt. Hard 1-2

Sounds like full pressure apply from pcm. Must check for full 12v at trans connector. Also check all ground twice. That is a hard trans to install and things tend to get left loose.

1998 blazer 4x4. Not sure if shift solenoid issue or transmission control module. Truck died no engagement in any gear no fluid pumped. Thought old 4l60e pump quit (had a pump or converter whine when I...

Even if all the electronics were dead you still should have movement in some gear, usually reverse and 2nd. If you put the transmission in park [and have both back tires off of the ground a bit] can you turn the rear driveshaft by hand? If so then the transfer case isn't connecting the driveshaft to the transmission. If the driveshaft won't turn then you know it''s connected internally and can look elsewhere. Only other thing I can think of is possibly the front pump in this 4L60E may be damaged and not capable of pumping any oil. You could disconnect one of the cooler lines and see if it pumps any oil out with the engine running. No oil means no pump action. Hope this helps a bit and good luck!

94 blazer s10 4l60e and the 94 fullsize blazer 4l60e are they the same transmission could i use a s10 tranny for my fullsize blazer ?? i know the bolt for the plate are 3 on each side for mine and the s10...

Installing the full-size Blazer trans into the S-10 would be safer. As long as they came off of the same size engine then yes, they will interchange. But.... the trans off of the S-10 is not built as strong as the trans for the full-sized Blazer, clutch capacity is less, band servo may have smaller apply area, and torque convertor stall speed may different enough to set a "code". Towing capability would be compromised. I have no idea what you meant by the "bolt for the plate".

1994 K1500 CHEVEROLET BLAZER wont move in any gear

Hello;
Your trans is the 4L60E. A really good trans but they do go out. I would start by pulling the oil pan on the trans and seeing if anything is there. The obvious is a large debris field showing the trans is in need of a rebuild. Specialized tools are required for these units and not recommended for a novice. I would also look to see if the shift linkage has broke inside the case. Have someone step on the brake while you look under the trans and shift the gear shift through the entire range. I have seen the cables brake in the casing and have also seen the rooster come come loose, break, and disengage. hope this helps.
Thanks;

To drive er no...

something is screwy with the wiring to the trans, this trans is electronic and needs the correct control unit and wiring harness, I think the problem is in the wiring to the trans, it may no be the correct connector, the shell of the connector may fit the trans but the wires in the connector are in the wrong positions.
