It can be any number of things. The switch could have been turned off or you may need to replace the compressor. It may also be the compressor relay. These are not too expensive if you check around.
Always check the air lines also, Hopefully this helps you
The
fuse panel is in front passenger side behind the plastic cover it is
about 12in. tall and about 8in. wide reach to the front side and pull it
off, then at bottom of the fuse box cover pull straight out walla there
is your fuses. did it just today on mine good luck figuring everything
out on ur navii cause ford wont help without ur checkbook.
SURE IS! I
found it right where the passengers right foot would be. Behind the
kick panel ahead of the car's door. You'll need your owner's manual, all
fuses are identified as; FUSE 1, FUSE 2, FUSE 3................
Your air ride system has a leak in it somewhere. It could be your compressor is burnt out form running to keep the system pumped up. It could also be the dryer, bad solenoids, air hoses, honestly it's a number of things it could be. I had a similar problem with my Lincoln Navigator about 6 months ago and I converted over to a non air system from Strutmasters. Check them out, they're on the web @ www.strutmasters.com :)
