Going now to test cam and crank trigger. The odd thing is car ran until owner removed old coils and tried to replace plug boots and wire to plug. Re-installed no start after. thats where I came in to the scene. Any known issues you know of would help. Lancaster

Why car my car start?

there are 2 pieces to the crankshaft sensor...one is a little round thing that is mounted under the valve cover on the driver side. The other part plugs into this and the cable runs down under the other side of the engine. The sensor is inside the timing belt cover.

i had your problem a month ago and had the little round part replaced and that worked for me.

Firing Order for a 2002 Hyundai Sonata

Since the 4 cyl engine uses direct ignition, here is the info for the V6.
Standing in front of the car, the cylinders in front are 2-4-6 and the cylinders next to the firewall are 1-3-5.
The wires on the coil are 1-4-5-2-3-6. The actual firing order is 123456.

I think that the coil packs has installed wrong because you said that the problem started when you replaced them... so i think you should re-install.
