I have 80 series landcruiser and it's problem is that when I am driving in gear number 4 or 5 the vehicle sometimes vibrates vigrously when the the speed is in between 65 to 75 km/hr. I have changed both the rear universal joints but still the problem is not solved ,what can i do now?

Well if the truck feels like it is shaking under you its got to be a tire with a broken belt, or if it is shaking on the steering wheel its something in the fron end

We all use 80/90 weigth, but for more proteccion upgrade to 80/140w multigradre or even try a fully synteric brand, the higher the number more proteccion under severe abuse(heat)

I have an 80 series landcruiser with A442F transmission, built 1993. It will not select 1st gear or overdrive. It takes off in 2nd and shifts to 3rd normally, 1st gear can be selected manually and changes...

It seems like your "2nd start" button is turned on. The 80 series LC has a button next to the shifter which allows it to start in 2nd gear. If the button is not engaged then there could be a problem with the circuit, but that is not common

Broken sub tank switch in 80 series toyota landcruiser

Replace it. Most switches are mounted to plastic snap clips than can be removed with a simple Flathead screwdriver.A $5 plastic pry tool set is the best, but a butter knife or two works wonders sometimes.
