Do you know what a wiring diagram is ? How to use a DVOM - digital volt ohmmeter to test electrical circuits ? View wiring diagrams to see what all is involved in making the windows work . 05 Lexus probably has a electronic control module used to control windows . Does the passenger window only work from it's door switch ? Does the driver master switch open / close that window ?
Go to www.hmaservice.com and register your vehicle by VIN #.. you'll then have access to wiring diagrams, shop manuals, service bulletins, illustrations, etc.
Search Saab forums for your year and model to get advice on the driver's window. Re the heated seats not turning off -- try spraying some WD40 into the switch and turning on/off several times to clean it. If that doesn't work, you'll need to take out the switch and either repair or replace it.
yes maybe a fuse, also look under the seat and ensure the wire is connected they sometimes get caught when moving the seat back and forward and split against the metal seat base.
To do a swap like this, you will need to identify each wire on the seat you want to install...Easiest way is to connedt to a battery and see what each lead does and write it down, then match those functions to the wiring from the Jeep. The larger problem you may run into is that the frame of a passenger car seat is far lower than the one in the Jeep. When installed you may essentially be sitting on the floor!!! Unless you are a very large person, this may be a real problem!!!
