Dash not lighting up no p-r-n-d showing or odomter,milage etc

Code 82 is change oil soon. If you have just changed the oil or go have it changed somewhere then you can clear it, but DO NOT simply clear it WITHOUT changing your oil and filter! Never neglect regular oil changes. $20 isn't going to break the bank. It will go a long way to ensure your engine will operate for as many years as possible. To clear the change oil code turn your car on, but leave it in park. Push the menu button until you see oil life in your DIC. Push and hold the reset button.

odomter or speedometer?if its speedometer you might have a bad speed sensor located on transmission out put shaft area.

Switch could be prob, check fuses first.

If you have no check engine light on and the transmission shifts fine then you have a failed instrument cluster tachometer. You will need to remove the cluster from the dash and send it out for repair. Contact the local dealer to see which shop they use for repair of the instrument clusters. Do the cluster pull out and install work yourself to save money. You can also find online repair shops that have very quick repair times and will give detailed instructions on how to remove the unit from the dash. Do a google search

Hi, I had that problem with my truck too,
What I did is take the dash out
I just moved and readjust circuits
And it worked for a few months
Now they are off once again
I recomend you to replace the dash... good luck!

You probably have a fuse blown in the underhood fusebox. Could be the one for the interior light/radio...etc.. Hope this helps?

this is not uncommon for this to happen. pull the unit out of the dash and check the connections. sometimes this has to be done by pushing on every pin from behind. leave the key on and when you do this so you can notice changes. if this test fails. the speedometer unit needs to be replaced. salvage yards usually have these in stock. and run anywhere from $75 - $150.

Short of buying new, there is no known way of clocking it.
