2 problems.....just bought a 2005 H3 Hummer and drove it from WV to NC......noticed the rear floor area behind the front passenger seat was very, very hot to touch........ also, noticed the carpet in foot area of front passenger seat was wet and the carpet was partially soaked.....it had rained part of the way and also, I used the air conditioner during entire trip.......
The hot floor is the catalitic converter. It may be bad, but you need to find out why it got hot. usually lean codes will be present with this problem. could be a bad vacuum leak. mass air flow sensor could be bad. as far as the water being a 2006 I do not think it is the windshield, probably the drain is plugged up for your a/c look under the hood, passenger side, there should be a tube that hangs down around where the a/c lines go in to cabin. you can try to back flush it or run something up in it to free it up. good luck
