If it is dripping out the bottom of the bell, it must be the rear seal in the engine. A real pain to fix. Most of the time, not worth fixing, just let it drip. I know there isn't an oil line back there unless you have an oil gauge on the dash that hooks to the pressure switch. It would be a tiny line, about 1/8" max.. Most cars don't, only race cars and they are on the hood, no oil lines in the car. They tend to fuel fires. Anyway, check it out.

Oil leak after long drive but not sure where is the leak as it looks like its coming from the bellhousing.the transmission is not leaking and the engine sump is not leaking.

Check the back of the head for any oil leaking down from a plug or a gasket. Sounds like it will be the rear main seal on the crank. If there's an inspection cover on the transmission, remove it and look for oil inside the bell housing and the inside of the transmission inspection cover. If there's a lot of oil, it will be the rear seal.

2003 dodge Intrepid 2.7l oil leak above rear main seal after running 20 minutes

rear main seal usually only leaks when the car is running. though oil will slowy drip off afterwards. now the best way to tell is to remove the heat sheild that covers the flywheel and look at it and at the flywheel . is the oil only on the engine side of the cover or is it inside the cover and on the fly wheel. the rear main seal will leak into the bellhousing and on the fly wheel the oil pan gasket will leak on the front of the heat sheild.

V6 coolant leak

If it is in fact between the bellhousing and block, and not leaking down onto the outer surface of the bellhousing, its the freeze plug on the back of the block.
The engine or trans would need to be pulled to get to it.

Engine oil leak finding its way out of bellhousing at back of engine when parked on upward slope comes out when engine is switched off heavy drip nothing while engine running.

Your problem is indicitive of a rear engine main crank seal failure and possible excessive oil in the sump. Check oil level and make sure it is on the mark and not over it.

1996 chevrolet impala ss oil leak rear of engine

Is it engine oil or transmission fluid? Is it driven often or does it sit in the garage? If engine oil, then possibly the rear seal is leaking into the bellhousing as you drive and then draining on the floor after you stop. If ****** fluid, then possibly front seal on ****** is leaking. If car sits for long periods of time the input shaft seal can allow fluid to leak past the shaft. This usually will fix itself when driven. Can't promise it will fix itself permanently. Will not be an easy fix if either seal needs replacing (or cheap).

Leaking from the front of bellhouseing

Gday mate, geoff here, there are 3 things that can leak there, 1st is coolant as there should be a freeze plug at the back of each cylinder bank in there.
2nd engine oil as there is a seal on the crankshaft and a plug at the back of the Cam tunnel, mostly if its engine oil it will be the crank seal.
3rd is gear/transmission oil, front seal on the gearbox if that is the case, also make sure that the oil isn't coming from the top and leaking down to look like its the bell housing leaking, as the valley cover and rocker covers extend back to just above the bell housing, hope this helps, geoff.

95 camaro 3.4L is leaking water behind the motor in between the transmission & the oil pan. what can it be?

Water leaking from between the engine and transmission can only come from one place...there are two welch plugs (freeze plugs), located on either side of the rear cam plug. They rust out and leak. Your transmission needs to be removed to get to them. Sealers will not seal either.
Though they last a pretty long time, I always replace them with brass/bronze ones made for marine engines. Those will outlast the engine!!!
Make absolutely that nothing above the bellhousing is leaking before you do the job....it's too much work to do for no reason!!!

Im leaking coolint out of bottom of motor. is it an oil cooler?

Oil coolers have oil passing thru them not anti-freese. If its coming out of engine and not radiator it could be a bad frost plug, a leaking head gasket or a leaking intake manifold gasket.

1984 F150 302 Had oil pan gasket and both valve cover gaskets

you have several points to check!
the dip stick tube has a "O" ring seal at the bottom where it fits to tranny.
a reverse switch on tranny & the shifters selector shaft has a seal that may be leaking !
there are the cooler pipes from cooler to tranny [in & out] plus pump seal to the torque converter [leaks out between engine & tranny bellhousing] & then there are the drive shaft or shafts seals
so wipe it all clean & park it in a diffrent clean spot!
some will only leak when its runnung due to tranny,s internal pressure!
