1990 Chysler new yorker 3.3 moter. The belt tentioner "bracket" not the pully, snapped off, i havent tore into it yet but i cant see how/where it attaches to? does anybody know? and what does...

go to the website for autozone or advance. look up your part, there will be a picture of it and you will see where and how it bolts to the engine. you replace the whole thing, base, arm, and pulley. the spring gets old and weak, replacing the pulley only will do you no good.

1993 Chrysler New Yorker 5th Ave. the serpentine belt keeps coming off. 3.8l V6.

Check the tension of the belt. On the longest run it should depress about 3/8" with a 20 lb load applied to it. Or you should be able to twist it 90 deg at the longest run without too much effort.

HOW TIO INSTALL THE BELT ON CHRYSLER NEW YORKER 1990 3.3

There should be a single serpentine belt setup in that car. You need to
find the springloaded belt tensioner pulley, put the right sized socket
on it, with a long breakerbar or ratchet, and releive the tension from the belt to remove and replace it. There should be a sticker on the fanshroud area, which has the belt routing diagram on it. Good luck.
