Something is going wrong with my feul system. I put it on the front tank and it works a little then it acts like I am getting no feul. I switch to the back tank and it works better. The back tank is getting worse. Could this be the switch or what.

It could be the valve, that switches the tanks,or the fuel pump in that tank you are having the problem with,it is most likely the fuel pump in that tank that is the problem. If this was helpful, please rate, thank you.

Ran out of gas due to feul gage not working .. put some gas in can't get it started hat can i do

Depending on how much gas you put in it,
The fuel pump and gas gauge are all in one unit. The fuel pump uses the gas in the tank to keep it lubricated,So when you run out,It's like running an engine with no oil.
A little trick that will get you one more start to get you to a shop to replace the pump is to,
take a rubber hammer or something and hit the bottom of the gas tank about four times to loosen the fuel pump from it's binding bearings.

You need to replace the fuel tank switch. This is a common problem with the Fords. The switch is about $40.00.
