Mitsubishi Gallant, 1998 es, car. I enter a pothole on a high speed and the engine went off immediately and has refused to start since then, the electrician that is working on it states that current is not following into the plugs even when all fuse are working.

Check if there is a separate fuse for the hazard lights circuit on your model. If so you can pull the fuse to stop the lights flashing until the hazard light switch, or whatever the cause of the problem is, can be rectfied.

in the junction box on left end of dash(driver side) there are 3 relays side by side on the bottom,then 2 top and bottom closest to seat,these 2 are both fuel pump relays

check for loose earth wires ( battery terminals), earth straps on the engine mounts etc as the problem is from something being loose and affected by bumps.

I have a 2001 Mitsubishi gallant es it run good then will cut off will turn over but wont stay crunk until cool down then run for 2-3 minutes and will jerk then will cut off

check your MAF sensor

it happens because too low voltage, ecu is not working properly if the voltage is running too low, just load little bit your battery(about 1 hour) and then your car should start, same happened to me

Is your engine a 4 or 6 cylinder? Air conditioning or no? Either way, a power steering belt at Auto Zone will run you from $7.99 to $12.99. If replacing that does not help, it may be your pump.
HOWEVER, before anything else, PLEASE CHECK THE FLUID LEVEL IN THE POWER STEERING RESERVOIR. It may be low. If so, just add fluid to the correct level.:)

dose the car have a o/d button

if so it sounds like the end clutch has died in the auto and you will need to go to a auto specialist.

check you auto oil level first and go from there

Take off the black plastic that covers the fuel pump.(It is atached to the engine on the left side). There is a grey conector that hooks to the return valve of the pump. It gets hot and looses contact, stoping the engine. There is a factory recall to replace that conector. You can fix it for the moment by umpluging it and twisting a litle the pins with a needle plyer.
