What is the difference between Pontiac Grand Am and Grand Prix?
The main difference between the Grand Prix and Grand Am is that the Grand Prix has a plain body and automobile AC system.On the other hand, Gand am is a curved-bodied and manual AC featured vehicle. Both the automobiles have amazing features and are different from each other in several aspects.
It appears to be that the radio clock display has malfunctioned, and is due for a replacement radio, which could be an aftermarket or oem radio, maybe found at a junk yard.
Tools required for oem replacement radio, torx keys set.
Before working on the radio or other electronics, disconnect the battery cables with 8mm wrench.
Replacing the oem radio is much easier, if you obtain oem radio, compared to aftermarket radio, due to being direct fit.
The radio is same for 1995 to 1999 Pontiac Sunfire and the Chevy Cavalier, regardless of sub models, such as SE,GT, VL,VLX,Z24. etc.
Parts needed for the the aftermarket radio install :Stereo assembly, stereo wiring harness adapter, radio antenna adapter, and dash install kit.wiring diagram for the wire colors / functions, along with tools, such as torx key set, screwdrivers,wire crimper, wire stripper, double ended wiring connectors, hair dryer.
The oem stereo removal video is for the 2000 to 2005 Sunfire / Cavalier, but are the same or very similar procedures.
the large port is the low side. if the cap is on the on the port it will blue.red port is the high side.this does not have anything to do with the blower motor.
If you check around, I think you will find that the price varies considerably (like from a cheapie $59.99 upwards to $200.00. Independent shops are almost always cheaper than dealerships, but you can only hope you find a reputable shop. Ask friends or associates who they would recommend. The price is less important than that the job is done thoroughly and competently. Some places have been known to cut corners, rush the job,and push unhappy customers out the door.(That's why a lot of people have become DIY'ers.) Good luck.
their isnt one ,you have to drop the sump .best advice is if auto box is working leave well alone you shouldnt need to change the transmission oil ever
