there is usually a transmission cooler in the front of the car. transmission fluid flows through rubber or steel lines to the trans cooler and back. those lines are commonly known to rust and leak.
if it was me and never changed the fluid and filter on reg time and milage i wouldnt flush it and timing belt is a thing needs replace aound the miilage u have on your car most of the time u change it every 50.000miles it isnt causing u problems now. why cause them
Have you changed your transmission fluid? I am assuming that it is automatic.Could be low on transmission fluid. Could also be filters in you tranny stopped up with slug/ gear shivers.Could also be band in transmission needs adjusting.
It is a proprietary Hyundai transmission fluid. Don't use anything other than the Hyundai stuff. This fluid has superb lubrication properties, but it breaks down much quicker than the specified 30,000 mile fluid change intervals. I highly recommend having both the fluid and filter changed once a year or once every 15,000 to 20,000 miles.
Try this.
If the two hoses are connected to the correct locations on the transmission, take the shorter hose and see which fitting it reaches on the radiator. If it reaches only one, you have the answer.
The radiator is used to cool the transmission fluid.
