On the convertible it is on the fuel tank held down by the fuel tank strap and bolt on the driver's side----I just replaced my filter and pump.

The fuel filter is external, will be an in-line fuel filter meaning it's screw into the fuel line, more then likely will be under the hood over by the fire wall.

Fuel filter is on top of gas tank driver side you need to drop thr tank enough to remove it

Verify you have spark, those are known to have issues with the camshaft sensor in the distributor. I have put 2 distributors in my daughter's 97 sebring jxi, did the same thing.

WE HAVE THE SOLUTION.

WE ALSO HAVE A 2000 SEBRING CONVERTIBLE JXI

REPLACE THE IAC AND EGR VALVE, REPLACE ALL SPARK PLUGS AND WIRES; THREE SPARK PLUG ARE HIDDEN UNDER THE MANIFOLD.

CAR NOW RUNS PERFECT!!!!!!

Where is the fuel filter located on a 2004 Chrysler Sebring sedan?
Some of the Sebrings have two filters(one is called a sock).The sock(which all sebrings have) is located in the fuel tank itself on the pump module.If this model is the JXI then the external filter is located on the belly of the car between the tank and drivers rear seat. I hope I could help!!!
