First be sure the vehicle's engine and coolant is cold, never attempt to open these closed pressurized systems when hot you can be scolded.
jack the front of the car and secure it with jack stands and a support block on the front and rear of the back tires so the car can't roll off the stands. Remove the radiator mounting bolts across the topside of the radiator, may be a few 10 mill hex holding the radiator in place. Remove the electric fan and shroud from the radiator, usually two to four # 10 metric bolts retain it to the radiator, and remove the electric harness plug from the fam as well.
Using a flat wide drain paninstalled under the radiator for catching any drained coolant etc., locate the drain plug, usually mounted down the side of the radiator tank(black plastic).
If you cant locate it, carefully remove the lower radiator hose from the radiator and this will act as the drain as well.

After it is drained remove the upper radiator hose from the radiator, remove the automatic transmission coolant lines if so equipped from the radiator, and carefully remove the radiator.
When installing do the reverse, being very careful not to damage the core(mesh center of the radiator) as it can easily get punctured and leak. Be sure to replace the thermostat and gasket as well as that may be an under lying cause of creating a radiator problem, also check the water pump for wear and leaks as well.
After the radiator is installed and all hoses lines and clamps are secured along with the support bolts and electric fan assembly, fill the radiator using a 50/50 mix of coolant and water, run the vehicle hot, put the heater on, secure loosely the radiator cap keeping a good sized rag over it, be careful not to get burnt as the vehicle will need more 50/50 coolant mix added to the radiator after a 210 degree temp has been reached that will have opened the thermostat thus dropping the level of coolant down, don't open the rad. cap right away let it simmer down for safety sake before refilling.
Wear protective face gear and hand protection for all the money you save doing the job yourself is not worth it if you get injured.
Happy Motoring!!

Radiator

Look for signs of coolant leakage on the garage floor, driveway or ground under your vehicle. Check the level of coolant in the overflow reservoir or inside the radiator by removing the radiator cap. The engine must be cool before the radiator cap can be safely removed. Inspect the radiator to find where it is leaking. There may be an obvious hole or other defect that is easy to spot, such as deposits of coolant and an orange or green discoloration. Leaking radiator fluid where lower hose connects w/core

Hi:

If you have a leak near the lower radiator connection that just started, it is either a failed hose, or possibly a radiator core leak that is dripping down to that area.
If you havent changed your radiator hoses for awhile, and they feel soft, it isn't a bad idea to change them both. If you drain your radiator to change the hoses, this would be a good time to inspect the radiator, and perhaps you will find the source of the leak.

I have oil in radiator ,transmission slips

Does the oil in the radiator look reddish? likely it does...You most likely have a failure inside the radiator where the trans cooler coil runs through it. Replace radiator and have trans fluid changed and flushed. If slipping continues trans will need a rebuild. (hope not)

Need to replace Radiator on a 95 F-350 (7.3 l) turbo diesel,

if the radiator cools properly and engine does not overheat, I would probably change the antifreeze solution but not the radiator, does it leak? test its cooling capability by running the engine until the cooling fans operate. changing the fluids is a good idea, also lube driveline and suspension
