I have the same problem problem, it is something related to the security system, do you get a security lock sign flashing on your deck? if so, most likely that's what it is. the solution to my problem is to do the following: turn your ignition switch on to the accessories ON possition and leave it on for 30 minutes, this will reset the security system, you may have to crank it once or twice and boila. good luck.

Anything can happen at any time, head gaskets can blow completely from not leaking in a couple mins,.
Please check the Air / Fuel / Spark

In the am my engine will crank but wont start until i pump the gas peddel 20 times then it starts, and will start everytime all day next morning wont star In the am its like it isnt getting gas??

Pumping the gas pedal on a fuel injected car doesn't really do anything.
However, cranking the engine for an extended period of time could "pump up" the fuel pressure.
You should have about 35psi in the fuel line when you first crank the engine. If the pressure is low, it could take 30-60 seconds to build up that pressure to get the engine to start. Min pressure is around 35-40psi. The pump in the tank could be leaking pressure back into the tank overnight, or the pump relay could be faulty.

Try to have codes pulled to see if any codes relate to the starting issue.

If u hear the engine cranking in the AM, the batt & alt sound good. If you don't get any engine cranking in the am you may have an electrical short draining the battery. Before u convict the starter u must make sure the battery has full power in the AM. (12V) & 12 V to the starter

My battery is dead in the morning and i check the batt and the alternator and they both work fine also my crank fuse has no voltage

Please check the current leaks on your car. You may need to remove the battery cables before park overnight and start your car in the next morning too see how your battery work. Regards

95 jeep cherokee seemed to run fine but left overnight it wont

You changed the ignition coil from distributor right?
secondly make sure distributor is not internally shattered (which is a common problem). Normally the current comes from Crank sensor or cam shaft sensor !

My 1997 Dodge Avenger's engine won't start

Try cam and/or crank sensor. If crank to cam timing isn't detected properly it'll crank all day but won't start. I had similar problem on my 2.5L V6 Avenger....drove home fine, no engine light, next morning it cranked, but wouldn't start. The crank sensor was faulty.

Will not start

potential water in line. Red, plastic bottle of Gas treatment first. STP gas treatment highly rec. Definitely make sure you do not have any more gas leaks since the system relies on pressure. Any loss in pressure results in loss of fuel to injectors/carb. Start with the gas treatment first... go from there. Sounds retarded but believe me, this has helped countless people... including myself multiple times.

Afterwards, you will need to think on terms of electrical ignition problems:

HV coil

HV coil wire

clogged filter or reversed direction filter [recheck even though it is new]
