No, it will not work, the 1992 motor is for OBD I and your car has OBD II.

Will the fuel tank from a 2000 grand am fit in a 1994 Grand Am

easy way to find out is look up the parts online at autozone and check the part number it gives and make sure they are the same. best way for you to find out, cause no one will help at any auto stores. they are all new hires and know nothing other than what the computer tells them and they go by what car you have and they will not cross reff for you. hope that helps

I have 1996 jeep grand Cherokee Laredo my motor is

they made 5million I6s
most work.
what is the question, ?
  1. long block
  2. short block
  3. or long + all manifolds, no most of the manifolds will not work.
there are other issues, legal
say you are in calif, and they disallow older motors on POINT.
serial numbers. and date codes.?

i cant answer for law , only fit and work. (no country even stated or state) and one mans fit is other mans, horror.
most things can be made to fit, if SKILLED.
bolt in swaps, sure.

any motor re-builder shows this, ever look there?
years of applicability are well known by them.
first google hit , am i lucky?

here is my cheat sheet
Year............Casting No
1991-95......7120 HO flows.

Year............Casting No. ...........................Part No.

1988-90........53005535 (8933002665)....83505110

if you want all facts join any real jeep form (not here....xxxxx)
and see all the pros and cons for 5 million engines.
just one set of heads like to crack , i think.

remove your window motor from door usually 3 bolts hold it on or 3 rivets. if its riveted you need to drill them out . once the motor is removed you will see a black back plate held on by one small screw. remove this and pull the plate off and you will see a gear, remove the gear and you should see pieces of plastic shreded up in the motor. clean it out go buy a plastic toilet bowl screwand use the smooth side of the screw cut doown to fit in the motor with the gear on top .. it will need three pieces in there. put the gear back in reassemble the motor and test it before you put it back on it should work fine for several years. cost of DIY maybe $3. its not hard to do. ford sells a rebuilt kit but they would rather sell you a now window motor

Help me with a motor interchange

Believe it or not all GM 300 series motors are very similar and they all give head or intake problems whether its in the grand am, grand prix or montana the 3.4 is just that a 3.4. GMs not going to make a different 3.4 for each car they're all the same, it will fit. Do yourself a favor and make sure its not the intake gasket thats the actual culprit.
