Question about 1993 Ford F150 SuperCab
My 1993 F-150 SUPER Cab truck with 5.0 motor runs good but wants to die on me when i put it in reverse? only in reverse no one seems to know why it only dies in reverse. also it seems hard to engage it in reverse
I have the same stalling issue in reverse with a Dodge Ram 1500. I have been researching online forums and read about stalling occurring because of a clogged or bad transmission cooling radiator. I am going to remove the lines into and out and splice a connector hose and test my reverse to see if mine is failed. I have replaced my solenoid pack, both tranny filters, air intake control, throttle positioning sensor, can positioning sensor, crankshaft positioning sensor, transmission pressure sensor, canister purge sensor. Still searching for the problem .

It sounds to me like you have an internal vacuum leak in your transmission.
