I would recommend penzoil 5-30 oil. Clean and leaves less gunk. It looks clean in the intake manifold and the Fuel injectors as well as the general performance is good. Compared to other oils and costs, it's a good oil.
For synthetics, use 10-W30 Castrol pure synthetic is really good, so is Mobile 1. Also combine that w/ a Bosch oil filter.

What should the tire pressure be? we bought the vehicle used - and no owner's manual - and no sticker in the door...

Go by the pressure on the tires. The tires that are on there might not be the same build as the thires when the car was new so a door sticker may not be correct.

Tire pressure for passat 2002

It is not so much the tire pressure for a Passat, 2002 as it is the tire pressure for a tire on the Passat 2002.

Only certain tires will fit on a Passat and VW knows this when they put the information on the door pillar, driver side in most 'editions' of the Passat. Same is said about what they printed in the owner manual and also the sticker that may be in your glove compartment.

All this information provided by VW is based on the tire that fits the Passat. The tire will have all the information you require molded into the side wall of the tire: recommended pressure, load range, temperature range and more. Look closely at the tire for this and lots more infomation including tire construction type, material and size.

What is the correct tire pressure for a mazda tribute with these tires 245/70/R16

First of all, don't exceed the maximum pressure that is marked on the tire.
Most cars have the tire size and tire pressure listed on a tag on the inside of the front door or the door jam. Usually the driver's side.
If you can't find the "official" tire pressure on the door or the owner's manual, you are pretty safe using between 30 and 35psi. I keep my 2002 Escape at 35psi.

When do i need to get maintenance on my 2007 mitsubishi galant?

Every week its a good idea to check tire and oil pressure, wiper fluid, coolant, the usual's. Oil changes every 3-5 months, and check-ups at least yearly with your dealer. If you bought it new, the dealer often supplies a maintenance package for the first few years.

I have a 2008 mitsubishi galant and i have a horse shoe shaped light with an exclamation point in the middle on on my dash board....what does this light mean?

Does it look like the one toward the bottom of this page?
I'm pretty sure that is a tire pressure warning light. You can find a key for this in the owners manual if you have it still.

How do you turn off a tire pressure sensor dash light on a 2006 Mitsubishi Galant

check the tire pressures in ALL tires not just the 4 on the ground but the sapre also. If the pressures are all correct and the light is still on you may need to take it to a tire store such as good year or firestone or eve you local dealr to have the tpms SYSTEM checked out, (TPMS Tire Pressure Monitoring System)

What type of oil and brake fluid do I need for the 2002 Mitsubishi Galant?

If U look in your owners manual it tells U that type of stuff. If U don't have the manual for the oil it should tell on the dip stick. For the brake fluid its more than likely DOT 3 fluid.

Hope this helps
