Question about 1999 Volvo V70
1999 Volvo V70 2.4L standard: I get various lights on: transmission, ABS and BRAKE or ABS and TRACS, CHECK ENGINE.
Is it electrical?
Sounds like you have multiple separate problems. ABS Tracs is usually the control module is bad. Volvo has lots of issues with this. If you have a speed sensor code for the right rear wheel speed sensor that keeps coming on, then you need a computer. Check engine is emissions related and will require you get the codes read and repost. Same with the transmission. 35 years as a master tech

More like computer.. you will need to isolate the problem with one code at a time... sometime two codes are fixed, try this:
1. Check the rotor and break pad thickness, that normally will fix abs, brake or abs and tracs.
2. check engine could be as simple as an O2 sensor or fuel filter, coil pack, starter... each needs to be check'd.
3. check engine should identify condition codes.. go to princess auto and pick up the comptuer untit for 60$.
4. If it ain't burning oil.. heck have fun with it.
