How do i replace front brake hoses on 94 ford ranger

Here is a good forum to find your answer.

A few few things to remember: Purchase fresh new brake fluid and have a clean MityVac pump (both can be purchased through AutoZone, NAPA, Orielys, etc..) , plenty of clean rags, brake line clamps to stop the fluid from leaking when you initially pull the line off.
Be prepared to bleed ALL the brakes after changing the lines. When bleeding the brakes (after replacing the old lines) work from the caliper that is the longest distance from the brake master cylinder first to the shortest distance line.

94 nissan quest front left brake locks up replaced front calipers and bleed the front same problem

I ran into that problem and it was because I put a pair of vice grip on the rubber brake line and it tore the inside of the rubber hose and wouldn't allow the brake fluid to return to the master cylinder, I don't know if you have the same problem but it's a idea.

I bled the brakes after replacing a broken line and the brakes are still soft when started. im sure the air is out of the lines. what else could i check

If you replaced the line without replacing the rotor and pads this thing leaked fluid on it will never work right. Once brake fluid leakes unto pads an rotors they are useless.
Furthermore, if the brake hoses are worn they should be replaced.
Lastly recheck the fittings of the line you replaced . make sure you didn't cross thread the fittings and the connection is tight.

when brakes get stiff can you push down with both legs to get brakes to work? 3 things check vacuum line to brake booster. Brake booster may be about to fail. Replace brake booster and master cylinder.

your inside pad wore out first do to a bad caliper or frozen slide or brake hose.remove brake hose off the caliper and see if you can turn the wheel.if you can replace hose and bleed caliper.if wheel still doesn't move buy a loaded caliper, this will come also with new slides!and then bleed
