1999 vw beetle will not start. Engine tries to start but the moment it fire up, it dies. Doesnt seem to be getting enough fuel, but fuel pump is delivering. Seems injectors are not working. Wha

It is called pulse. Lack of pulse to the injectors is a wiring problem or a Powertrain control module problem. You should have 12 volts to one side of each injector with key turned to run, do you?

What is the final word on which fuel to run in vw beetle turbo....i get conflicting information...my check engine also comes on and the code says misfire..help!

Use premium. If you use reg and hear knocking sounds, that is a problem.
Your misfire is most likely a bad spark plug. Make sure that you use OEM plugs only. Any other plug can ruin your ignition coil. Check the plug wires resistance with an OHM meter. Any out of specs need to be replaced.
It is possible the coil is damaged, but can be checked the same way as the plug wires.
Check for clean air filter.
If this doesn't solve the issue, then go through the fuel system. Change the fuel filter. Listen for constant ticking sound in fuel injectors. Use an injector cleaner in the next fuel up.
Good Luck!

My 88 jeep wrangler spitts and sputters when you give it gas how could i make it run normal

YOU COULD HAVE DIRTY CLOGGED FUEL INJECTORS.OR WEAK COIL.LOW COMPRESSION CYLINDERS.TRY CLEANING FUEL INJECTORS.BY FILLING GAS TANK UP.THEN PUT A BOTTLE OF FUEL INJECTION CLEANER IN GAS TANK DRIVE CAR AROUND SO CLEANER CAN CLEAN OUT INJECTORS.CHANGE FUEL FILTER.CHECK ALL VACUUM HOSES.ALSO HAVE IGNITION TIMING CHECKED.

1999 Volkswagon beetle turbo diesel injection pump

Was any work just done to this car? Timing belt? It is rare that these pumps go bad but I have seen a few shell out. If you are not familiar with the ALH diesel engine I would not try to replace it. You should take it to a shop that specializes in VW's.
