My 97 jeep wrangler 4.0 is overheating badly, waterpump, thermostat, radiator, clutchfan have all been changed, and no mixing of water and oil what could it be? Also not air locked

do a compression test on cooling system just because no oil and water mix doesnt mean head gasket good ---keep an eye on fluid level possible can be burning the coolant also check flow new doesnt mean free from defects or improper installation [thermostat-water pump]

Front blower fan isnt working

It is not intended to run all the time, just when engine reaches required heat range causing it to come on as to cool system down. Now if your car is overheating and fan does not kick on then this would indicate that heat range sensor that tells fan when to come on has failed....hope this info help and good luck...please rate my post and feel free to contact me for futher informatiom if needed...

2007 Pacifica overheated. Outside Temp only 80. Doesnt appear that front fans are working and coolant level in resevior get higher.

Turn on the AC--it should start the radiator fans immediately. If nothing, check the fuse for the fans. The relay for the fans is a solid state device that is controlled directly by engine computer. The computer reads the coolant temperature sensor which tells the computer when to turn on the fans for usual cooling. Try to turn each fan manually (engine cool) and check for bad bearings, or fan blades--both fans should spin freely without any noise. If the fans come on with AC, then replace the temperature sensor which should be located near the attachment area of the upper radiator hose on the engine. It will have a single wire attached, and look like a small brass plug with threads. Watch the engine temperature for a while after the repair as the overheating may have damaged the thermostat element. Hope this helps!

I believe that you head gasket is going. Your fluid is going out the tailpipe as steam. They are kind of famous for going a little at a time until you blow the motor

Engine light comes on and says engine overheating

Could be three things: Hopefully the first...
1. radiator fan not blowing. (most likely)
2. Radiator clogged (not likely)
3. Head gasket blown... (very possible)

If #1, system cannot detect fan not blowing. It may be the fuse or the relay switch, disconnecetd wire at fan, or burned-out fan motor.
If #2, Flush radiator
If #3, you will see WHITE smoke out the tailpipe and excessive water drops.
Your new oil will have a "milky" look (check the oil dipstick). That is water.
When engine is COLD, remove radiator cap and start car. You will notice high-pressure "bubbles" squirt out of the radiator, even before the engine warms up.

I hope it is #1. and that this is helpful.

Make sure your fan is functional. If the fan is not working this can be a problem as it will not cool the engine.
